ONLINE Block Printing Workshop 12.18.21

Join us Saturday December 18th at 11am for a 90-minute beginners' class taught by Leslie Adkins where we'll learn the basics of block printing. One of the oldest forms of printmaking, there are varying techniques. We’ll go through the design and hand carving process, and then transfer the image onto everyday materials.

We will work through a multi-step process, from the basic conceptualization of your design to tracing it, then hand-carving it, layering the ink, and finally pressing it onto fabrics. The creative process is slow and precise, but also incredibly free and enjoyable. We encourage radical experimentation in this workshop.
