Create 6 beautiful, mini macrame ornaments for that styled boho look! A fantastic class for beginners, no experience required.

Join us Thursday, December 9th at 6:30pm PST for the Online Macrame Ornaments Workshop taught by fiber artist Melisa Joy. In this 1 hour workshop you’ll learn a few basic macrame techniques that will build as you complete your unique holiday decor. It’s always that handmade touch that makes the holidays so special!

This class will cover:

• Rope vs Cord. What’s the difference?

• Supply selection & project planning.

• Fraying tips and tricks

• Basic Macrame techniques

Workshop materials kit will have high-quality macrame rope in colors shown, 3 rings & wooden dowels, hanging string, comb for fringe, and instruction sheet for each project. Just bring a pair of scissors and tape! We’ll create 2-3 ornaments in this workshop and you’ll have enough materials to create 3 more on your own. 

Melisa Joy is a San Francisco-based designer & fiber artist who can't get enough of all things handmade. She's obsessed with color and loves teaching others a new, creative hobby. Melisa has taught various craft workshops for over eight years throughout the Bay area. She has designed home decor for Target, Kohls, Macys, and other mass retailers.

WHERE: Online via Zoom. Your kit will be mailed to you and you will receive a zoom link 3 days prior to the class.
