ONLINE Macrame Wall Hanging Workshop 4.24.21

  • San Francisco United States (map)

Learn how to make your own gorgeous wall hanging in this beginner-friendly online class! Prior experience is helpful, but due to the repetition it is an approachable project for beginners. We’ll work with single-strand cotton rope to create a finished project measuring 10”x16”. It’s a tabletop macrame project without managing loads of excess rope. Join us April 24th at 2pm pst for the Macrame Wall Hanging Workshop with Melisa Joy!

This class will cover:

  • How to begin a macrame project

  • Overview of materials and intro to fibers

  • Project planning and following a pattern

  • Fraying tips and tricks

  • Basic Macrame techniques

Workshop materials kit will include your choice of accent color: Agave, Blue Jade, Rust, Gold & Dusty Rose. Attendees will need to have their own scissors, tape and/or hot glue on hand.

Your kit will include:

  • (1) Wooden dowel rods and hanging string

  • Rope/cord for your project

  • Illustrated instructions

  • Comb for fringe
