Who’s ready for the cutest trio? Create 3 mini macrame pieces that will be the perfect accent piece or gift!
Join us Thursday, December 2nd at 6:30pm for the Online Mini Macrame Trio Workshop taught by Melisa Joy. You’ll learn basic & intermediate macrame techniques that will build as you complete your unique masterpieces. Plus you’ll be introduced to new fibers like a recycled combed cotton. Working with minis is a great way to complete a tabletop macrame project without managing loads of excess rope. A great class for patient beginners or someone who’s ready for their next macrame project!
This class will cover:
3 patterns and 3 macrame knots
Supply selection & project planning
Fraying tips and tricks
Basic Macrame techniques
Workshop materials kit will offer the 3 colors shown: Natural, Ochre, and Dusty Rose. We’ll complete 2 projects in class and you’ll have supplies to finish the easier 3rd pattern on your own! Other supplies include 3 wooden rods, hanging string, fringe comb, illustrated instructions, and a special surprise! Attendees will need to have their own scissors and tape on hand.
Melisa Joy is a San Francisco-based designer & fiber artist who can't get enough of all things handmade. She's obsessed with color and loves teaching others a new, creative hobby. Melisa has taught various craft workshops for over eight years throughout the Bay area. She has designed home decor for Target, Kohls, Macys, and other mass retailers.
