We have BIG news to share with you: we are making some exciting changes to gather and moving from our Hayes Valley location!

Connecting people with local artists at our workshops has become one of the most special parts of gather so we have decided to focus on that full time.

In early April, we will be closing our shop at 541 Octavia and winding down the retail component of the business.

In May we will continue hosting our popular workshops; popping up at some our favorite businesses around the bay area. Check out the entire event/workshop schedule!

Our goal is to open a dedicated workshop and event space to continue to expand our offerings- stay tuned!

Over the past five years we have absolutely loved curating the work of over 250 artists in our shop. It’s something we couldn’t have done without you. We have the most amazing customers and want to celebrate this next chapter with you!

We will be throwing a party on March 31st 4pm- 6pm at our Hayes Valley store and if we would love if you could be there to celebrate with us. Shop our discounted goods and drink bubbly with us! RSVP and tell all your friends!

Warmly,

Christian and Daisy

P. S. We're starting to mark down merchandise in the shop today. Come by and snag items from your favorite gather makers while you can. And if you are interested in any of our furniture or fixtures we are selling lots of goodies via our website here (pick up only).

P. P. S. Congrats if you got all the way to this part - another surprise for you! We’re welcoming baby boy #3 this Summer!

Tarot Card Workshop Recap

Daisy McClellanComment

We had such a wonderful time at last week's Tarot Card Workshop with Alejandra of the Lioness Oracle. We set new year intentions and learned how to read cards on ourselves. Here are a few snaps from the night. Missed our magical night? Sign up for our email newsletter at the bottom on our website. We're hoping to have Alejandra back again soon!

Holiday Gift Guide for Her

Daisy McClellanComment

Last week we published our annual gift guide for him. Now it's time to focus on the ladies in your life. Here is our holiday gift guide for her:

Give your main squeeze one of the new jewelry pieces we collaborated with Silver Sheep Jewelry to design. Pick from the ring, necklace, and ear climbers, all plated in 14K gold vermeil. The laurel designs is perfect to wear everyday alone or layered with other pieces. These will surely bring a smile to her face!

Spoil your family something warm and cozy. Our Bodhi Swag cocoons are our most popular holiday gift year after year. We love this season's colors and prints. Because these wraps are reversible, you are actually giving her two gifts! Also a bonus - they are one size fits all so you don't need to worry about figuring out the perfect size. And every generation loves these - our teenage cousin, our mom, and even our grandmother! Combine this with a hand crocheted beanie and knitted cowl by Mary Marie Knits (available in a variety of colors) and you will fully prepare you family for the winter ahead.

Not only are best friends given that label because they are the best, but because they deserve the best! Give her the gift of rejuvenation with this Relaxation Gift Box. Each gift box is carefully curated in our shop and includes a luxurious handmade jar of bath salt soak by Lighten Up Shoppe, a candle by JaxKelly complete with hidden crystal inside, a large pouch of tea from Steep Tea, Co., and a calming roll-on essential oil by Let’s Put a Bird On It.

What about the stockings? Grab one of our vintage fabric stockings from the shop and fill it with goodies from our local artists. Start with a Lady Alamo Zip, add a nail polish by Floss Gloss, toss in a Chai Tea Soap by Etta+Billie, grab a natural deodorant by Fat and the Moon, and finish it off with calming balm by Peachy Brand. O and don't forget the chocolate!

Why not give an experience gift? Choose from one of our workshops coming up in the new year. It's the perfect opportunity to learn a new skill. Or give them a gift card so they can choose their own gift. Need more ideas? Stop by the shop and let us help you put together the perfect gift! Also enjoy FREE shipping on any order in our online shop through Monday by using the code "FREESHIP2016". Remember to place your order by Monday December 19th to get it in time for Christmas!
