After the arrival of our cutie Cole, I decided to organize my closet. I found some really great gems that I am ready to part with. I thought a closet sale would be fun so have listed those items here. It’s a mix of independent and local designers as well as items from my favorite bay area boutiques. You’ll also find a few items left over from shutting down the retail part of gather. Some really awesome pieces in various sizes that still have the tags on them! I’ve reduced all the items to just a fraction of the retail value so that I can make the space for our growing family. Shipping is just $5 for the first item and $1 for each item after that. All sales final.

Small Business Saturday Pop Up

If we weren't already excited enough for Small Business Saturday, we now have more reason to be. If this is your first rodeo, Small Business Saturday has happened every year since it was conceived in 2010, as a counterpart to Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We were so grateful for everyone's support over the years, and can’t wait to celebrate with you this year. Join us on Saturday November 24th starting at 11a. We will be serving mimosas and handing out FREE tote bags to the first shoppers who make a purchase.

From 11a-5p gather maker, Courtney from Bored Inc will be popping up with a special collection of her enamel pins, patches, cards, prints, and totes. Her RBG enamel pins could quite possibly be our most popular selling item ever! Grab the best stocking stuffers and meet the artist.

Also, Alejandra León of The Lioness Oracle will be on hand doing Tarot Card readings from 11a-1p. Readings are 20 minutes and cost $40. Show up early to make sure you get on the list. This is an experience not to be missed!

Summer Pop Up with Theia Grazi and Rust & Flourish - July 8th

Join us at gather on Saturday July 8th from noon-4p as we host local clothing designer Theia Grazi and local florist Rust & Flourish for a special summer pop up!

Since 2011, friends Amy and Anya have been creating their clothing line Theia Grazi here in the bay area for every day women who want to look sophisticated without giving up comfort. They will be bringing everything from their Spring collection that we currently don't carry in the shop as well as amazing deals from past seasons. The designers will be on hand to style you and answer any questions you have about their process.

Rust & Flourish is an event and design studio based in Oakland who advocates of the slow-flower movement, striving to use locally sourced, seasonal, and foraged materials. Owner Ricci's love of flowers started at a very early age, when she would collage with her mother's garden and Martha Stewart magazines. She will be popping up for the day with various mini arrangements as well as fresh blooms to decorate your apartment with.

We will have mimosas on hand while you have fun trying on dresses and picking our flowers. What could be better? It's will be the perfect Summer day.

gather's 3 Year Anniversary Celebratory Weekend!

We can't believe it's been three years since we opened our doors at gather! We are so lucky we get to do what we do everyday. Featuring local and indie artists in our shop makes us so happy and we couldn't do it with out our amazing customers. We will be having a big weekend of celebration Saturday May 6th and Sunday May 7th to say thank you. Check out the details below, we hope to see you all there!

Saturday May 6th from noon-3p - Lips and Blooms

Special guest Elizabeth Street Cosmetics will join us as for a special lip bar. We're so excited that a small selection of their lipsticks will now be available in shop and are kicking it off with this fun event. Have your lips professionally done and leave with a customized chart to take home.

La Bodega Flora will also be rolling her cart up to gather for a special pop up full of their gorgeous hand-tied bouquets and planted goodies. You can even pre-order your flowers for Mother's Day and pick them up at the shop the following weekend!

Buy any lip product and flower or plant and you will receive a free jar of handmade bath salts soak. Perfect to gift for Mother's Day or keep for yourself. 

And to make it extra festive, we will be celebrating with mimosas!

Sunday May 7th from 11a-6p - Urban Air Market, Raffle, and Sale

Our favorite market of the season is back in our neighborhood! Join us as Urban Air sets up in Hayes Valley. With many of our artists setting up booths it's a great opportunity to meet some of our amazing makers. 

La Bodega Flora will be popping up again with her traveling floral and plant cart from 1-5p. Grab some beautiful flowers for the apartment. 

We will be serving mimosas all day and be giving away a gift bag full of goodies from the store. Every customer who makes a purchase will be entered in the raffle.

Thank you to everyone who came to The Shops Sale on Saturday March 25th! It was my first time ever putting together an event like this and I couldn't have been more thrilled with the turnout. It was bananas! I loved seeing all of the happy customers snagging deals and doing it with 13 of my favorite bay area shops. Temescal Brewing was the most wonderful host - seriously, nothing beats sale shopping and beer! Here are a few snaps from the day. Stay tuned for the next time we do this. We definitely want to do it again!
