We love participating in the annual SF Etsy Indie Holiday Emporium. Back for it’s 6th year it will be held at Pier 35 in San Francisco November 24-25. Join gather as we set up a mini satellite shop filled with all your favorite gather makers including new designs from emerging artists. Shop small with us at this amazing holiday market!

Small Business Saturday Pop Up

If we weren't already excited enough for Small Business Saturday, we now have more reason to be. If this is your first rodeo, Small Business Saturday has happened every year since it was conceived in 2010, as a counterpart to Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We were so grateful for everyone's support over the years, and can’t wait to celebrate with you this year. Join us on Saturday November 24th starting at 11a. We will be serving mimosas and handing out FREE tote bags to the first shoppers who make a purchase.

From 11a-5p gather maker, Courtney from Bored Inc will be popping up with a special collection of her enamel pins, patches, cards, prints, and totes. Her RBG enamel pins could quite possibly be our most popular selling item ever! Grab the best stocking stuffers and meet the artist.

Additionally, Kristina of Lacson Ravello will be in the shop from 11a-5p with her locally made clothing. Her dresses and tops are perfect for your holiday parties or gifting to your bestie. Meet the designer and try on her gorgeous designs.

Also, Alejandra León of The Lioness Oracle will be on hand doing Tarot Card readings from 11a-1p. Readings are 20 minutes and cost $40. Show up early to make sure you get on the list. This is an experience not to be missed!

Small Business Saturday Pop Up!

Small Business Saturday was started in 2010 to celebrate supporting local small businesses. This year will be our 4th year of participating and we couldn't be more excited! We were so grateful for those who shop at our little store so we want to thank you for supporting us and our makers! Join us Saturday November 25th for a special Pop Up and day of fun! Here's what's going on:

-Local florist Rust and Flourish will be popping up with beautiful handmade wreaths perfect for adorning your door this holiday season. She's also bringing beautiful plants to brighten up your office and home this winter. 

-Local pastry and confection company Le Dix-Sept will be joining us with her delicious fresh baked pastries and nougats. They make a delightful treat for breakfast! Make sure you come before she sells out!

-Local clothing company, AsA will be bringing a special curated rack of their beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces. Each garment is a work of art that has been slowly woven by hand or sewn from vintage fabrics by Oakland designer Tawny Holt.

-We will be giving away FREE tote bags to the first 20 shoppers

-Enjoy a FREE cup of cider to warm up while shopping

-Enter in our raffle to win a gift basket full of goodies made by our local and independent artists. Also included in the gift basket are 4 tickets to ANY show at the New Conservatory Theatre Center! How amazing is that?!

Saturday we will also be hosting a special pop up to celebrate the release of our jewelry collaboration with Silversheep Jewelry. We've always been fans of Sylvia's minimalist, thoughtfully crafted pieces so we knew she was just the person to partner with to create a special limited collection. Together we have designed a ring, ear climber, and necklace inspired by our gather logo. We can't wait for you to see everything! Sylvia will also be bringing more pieces from her collection for you to peruse. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet one of our favorite artists, learn about her process, and shop her jewelry.  Pop up hours are from 12-3p.

Silversheep x gather Jewelry Collaboration

We've always been fans of Sylvia of Silver Sheep's minimalist, thoughtfully crafted pieces so we knew she was just the person to partner with to create a special limited collection. Together we have designed a ring, ear climber, and necklace inspired by our gather logo. Here is a sneak peak from process. Sylvia handmade each one of these guys, they will be plated in gold vermeil and turned into wearable art. We can't wait for you to see the final product! Small Business Saturday (11/26/17) we will also be hosting a special pop up to celebrate the release of our jewelry collaboration. Jeweler, Sylvia will be coming in from Seattle to join and and she will also be bringing more pieces from her collection for you to peruse for gift giving. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet one of our favorite artists, learn about her process, and shop her jewelry.  Pop up hours are from 12-3p.

Small Business Saturday: Lip Bar, Free Gifts, and More!

If we weren't already excited enough for next week's Small Business Saturday, we now have more reason to be. If this is your first rodeo, Small Business Saturday has happened every year since it was conceived in 2010, as a counterpart to Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We were so grateful for everyone's support last year, and couldn't wait to plan some special happenings for this year's. We will be serving apple cider and handing out FREE tote bags to the first 10 shoppers to make a purchase, and now we will also have Kelly from Elizabeth Street Cosmetics joining us to give customers "lipovers" using her amazing all natural glosses and lip sticks! This is your perfect opportunity to get a jump start on your holiday shopping and we'll be offering FREE gift wrapping to save you the hassle!

Kelly's love affair with lipstick began when she was in junior high, spending afternoons at her Grandpa's pharmacy trying on all of the glosses he carried. Later, after working for years in the cosmetic industry, she began dreaming about creating a small niche brand of her own, and set out to design a specialty lip range using natural ingredients for a well edited color collection with an urban feel. Thus, Elizabeth Street Cosmetics was born! 

We are so excited to have her in store and working her magic on our amazing customers. Each lip color application will come with a personalized lipcolor chart made by Kelly herself, so don't miss this opportunity to learn some valuable skills straight from the source!
