Paint-by-Number Holiday Card Workshop

In this workshop you will receive a boxed holiday card set. Each kit comes with (8) 5x7 identical flat cards ready to paint, (8) envelopes, (8) non-toxic, acrylic paints, and a set of (2) paintbrushes. We will also have on hand extra paint brushes and local artist and owner of gather Daisy McClellan to assist you.

Knit Hat Workshop

Join us Thursday November 29th at 7p at gather for new Knit Hat Workshop. Knitting in the round can be intimidating, but Cara from Cara Corey Designs will make it easy for you with a simple pattern that is suitable for beginners. Using super chunky yarn and a circular knitting needle, you will learn how to knit rounds with a seamless design. You will have a cute winter beanie in no time! Cara will have a variety of wool and acrylic yarns available for you to choose from. You will also learn how to add an optional pom pom to your hat. 

Price includes includes yarn and a circular knitting needle for you to take home to make more hats perfect for gifting this holiday. This two hour class also includes wine, snacks and a discount on merchandise in the store that day.

Giant Knit Blanket Workshop Recap

We had such a good time at our Giant Knit Blanket Workshop with Cara Carey Designs last night. The thick merino wool was like a cloud and the colors, so good! It was so fun learning the table knitting technique, how to source the materials, and meeting new faces.  Every student was able to finish their blanket in the class too! We had such an overwhelming response to the class we added another on Thursday June 21st at 7p. You can register for that class here. Hurry before it sells out! No knitting experience required.

Leather Moon Bag Workshop!

Join us Thursday March 8th at 7p for our Leather Moon Bag Workshop. In this fun and easy class we will take some basic leather making skills and apply them towards designing and making your very own leather half-moon bag. It’s a mini size that is perfect for holding extra goodies in your bag or taking it solo out on the town. It holds cards, lip products and other small things. You won’t leave home without it!

This leather working class is designed to put you in the maker’s seat. Learning a skill and then immediately applying it to your project will give you the confidence to put your skills to practice in a future project. So whether you are seeking a fun night out with friends or want to learn a new skill - future you will be “over the moon” with this class (see what we did there?)

Our instructor, Rebecca Saylor has taught many past gather workshops and owns her own business, Oodlebadoodle, where she creates adorable San Francisco themed plushies with whimsical fabric patterns. She will give you the knowledge to go home and create endless leather crafts you and your friends. Sign up early, seating is limited.

Rope Basket Workshop

Is your new year's resolution to get creative? Join us Thursday January 11th at 7p for our Rope Basket Workshop. Get in on the over-sized knitting trend with Cara Corey, our in house knitting expert. Learn a basic garter stitch using giant needles and soft cotton rope. Then assemble your knitted swatch into a sturdy basket that is perfect for storing books, toys, and more. No knitting experience is required and all participants will leave with a completed basket (about 9x9 inch) and a set of knitting needles for future projects. Painted Bead Necklace Workshop!

Join us for our new Painted Bead Necklaces Workshop on Tuesday November 7th at 7p. What better way to instantly spruce up an outfit than with a new handmade statement necklace? Instructor and co-owner of gather, Daisy McClellan has been designing jewelry for over 9 years. Learn all her tips and tricks to paint wooden beads in a bunch of different patterns and looks as well as various ways to finish your necklaces. Once you learn, you won't be able to stop making them for you and your friends. Leave with an instruction guide and where to source materials. No experience necessary. You'll leave with at least three finished necklaces.
