Block Print a Top Workshop

Daisy McClellanComment

Join us Thursday December 1st at 7pm as we learn the basics of block printing from local designer, Jennie Lennick to create personalized boxy tops*. In this workshop you will learn how to carve a block, apply ink, print, and add detail with fabric paint. Once you learn the techniques you'll want to print on more clothing, dish towels, paper, and more...the possibilities are endless...and will make great holiday gifts! All supplies are included and every student will leave with their very own custom top!

Jennie owns Jenny Lemons, a small-batch clothing company based in the Mission. Jennie learned to sew, bake, and embroider as a child growing up in rural Minnesota and draws inspiration from traditional domestic craft. She moved to the Bay Area to attend the San Francisco Art Institute, where she studied painting. Jennie loves constructing garments that are playful, comfortable, and made with natural and organic fibers.  We love carrying her designs at gather.

This two hour class also includes wine and snacks and a discount on merchandise in the store that night. No experience needed- all levels welcome!
