Tarot Card Workshop this Thursday!

Join us Thursday July 13th, 2017 for a special Tarot Card Workshop. We will be welcoming Alejandra Leon Wolfe Rocha, of the Lioness Oracle to teach this magical class. Our shop will be transformed into a beautiful sanctuary filled with tapestry, crystals, and candles. 

In this class you will:

• Delve into the realm of The Wands Suit in the Tarot, and gain a deeper understanding of their meanings.
• Learn about the symbolism of the Fire Element, and how it relates to our life path.
• Find out which Major Arcana cards relate to the Fire Element, and what they mean.
• Be assisted in pulling cards and deciphering their meanings.

For this class you will need a journal, pen, and Tarot deck. Beginners welcome!!

Alejandra has been studying and reading the Tarot for 15 years. She is the creator of The Lioness Oracle Tarot, a deck she collaged by hand with found paper images. In a class with her you can expect to feel welcomed and safe no matter what your current level of expertise is. She resides in Oakland with her husband Sam, and her kitties Mina and Ziggy.

This two hour class also includes wine and snacks and a discount on merchandise in the store that night.

Pop Up with Steep Tea Co During Urban Air Market

One of our favorite events of Fall is fast approaching! Mark your calendars, Urban Air Market will be taking over Hayes Valley on Sunday September 13th. Octavia and Hayes will be shut down to traffic and filled will local artists selling their wares, food trucks making yummy delights, and music jammin.  Many of our vendors set up booths at this show so it's always a fun day for us. We hope you stop in the shop for a little respite from the crowds.

We'll also be hosting a Pop Up in store with our favorite new tea brand, Steep Tea Co.  We carry their locally made organic loose leaf tea in the shop and can't get enough. Molly and Karina will set up shop at gather on Sunday with their delicious iced tea and a larger selection of their teas for you to go home with.  It will be the perfect pick me up from the heat of the market. Want to learn more about this Oakland duo? They will be here starting at 11am until they run out of tea so be sure to come early!
